In 2017, SAG-AFTRA approved the first-ever agreement with Telemundo Television Studios to cover Spanish-language television performers. This is the true, inside story of how that historic agreement came to be—the horrific conditions that caused the Telemundo performers to want to unionize, the scary and grueling months of negotiations that followed, and where we are one year later. Telenovela stars Pablo Azar and Katie Barberi risked their careers to fight for better rights. They join Gabrielle and David to tell this amazing tale.
